Caroline is a mother of four, a step-grandparent and great step-grandparent. She has held many roles over the last 20+ years since she left nursing and these have been mainly supporting and working with parents.
She has been a governor for 29 years and a Chair of Governors for 27 years. During this time Caroline has supported various schools across the City and was appointed as a consultant governor by the Local Authority. This included helping governors who were new to the post and advising governing bodies of schools that were in challenging circumstances.
Caroline is Chair of the Local Governing Body at Parson Street Primary School and also Chair of Governors at New Fosseway School.
She lives and works in South Bristol and is very proud of the community and what has been achieved in raising aspirations for all children.
In her spare time she likes going to Musical theatre especially in the West End of London, she enjoys reading, crochet and spending time with her family.
Caroline strongly believes that every child deserves the best education we can give them and this is reflected in the principles of TiLA.
