Caroline Jenkins

Caroline is a mother of four, a step-grandparent and great step-grandparent.  She has held many roles over the last 20+ years since she left nursing and these have been mainly supporting and working with parents and the wider community.

She has been a governor for 31 years and a Chair of Governors for 29 years.  During this time Caroline has supported various schools across the City and was appointed as a consultant governor by the Local Authority.  This included helping governors who were new to the post and advising governing bodies of schools that were in challenging circumstances.

Caroline has been the Chair of the Local Governing Body at Bridge Learning Campus and Parson Street Primary School and was also Chair of Governors at New Fosseway School. She is now taking on a new Governor role for the Trust and therefore is no longer on any of the LGBs.

She lives and works in South Bristol and is very proud of the community and what has been achieved in raising aspirations for all children.

In her spare time she likes going to Musical theatre especially in the West End of London, she enjoys reading, crochet and spending time with her family.

Caroline strongly believes that every child deserves the best education we can give them and this is reflected in the principles of TiLA.
