Louise Donaghey is Senior Vice-President – India and South Asia at Rolls-Royce where she is responsible for all customer and government relations for the Defence Business in India and the South Asia region. In this role, she leads regional teams focused on delivering on Rolls-Royce's current commitments and growing the Defence portfolio.
Prior to this, Louise was responsible for customer satisfaction for the entire Defence organisation, ensuring customer issues across the global in-service fleet were dealt with appropriately and were communicated to their customers in a timely manner.
Before joining Defence, Louise lead Sales for Civil Aerospace in East Africa and was responsible for securing the $500m deal with Ethiopian Airlines which also represented the first sales of the Trent 1000 to an existing GEnx customer.
In Service Development for Civil, Louise was responsible for developing Rolls-Royce’s suite of aftermarket service offerings known as TotalCare®.
Louise brings 22 years of aviation experience to Rolls-Royce. She began her career as an Engineering Officer in the Royal Air Force responsible for a squadron of Harrier aircraft. Transitioning into Industry through management positions in BAE Systems Defence, Louise gained experience in programme management, Lean engineering, business improvement and customer-facing roles.
She joined Rolls-Royce Purchasing in the UK in 2004, heading a team of Supplier Development Leaders before moving to the Civil Aerospace Sales Team where she was first responsible for all European Leasing Companies and later, based in Reston, Virginia, USA to manage relationships with American Airlines, US Airways and Southwest Airlines.
Louise holds a First Class Honours Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Loughborough, UK and she is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
She is married with two children and holds a black belt in Freestyle kickboxing.
