Born in Swansea, Dawn gained a BSc in Mathematics at the University of Bristol and decided to remain in Bristol after graduating. Shortly after graduation Dawn began working for Mitie Waste and Environmental as a Data Analyst and has remained with the company ever since, progressing her career and improving her Data Analyst skills.  

After her eldest son started school, Dawn joined the Fonthill Primary Academy local governing board and has been Chair of the governing board since 2022, bringing her experience of data analysis to the board.
